I normally keep my modified water can on my tailgate for washing dishes and hands along with my cooler so it would be nice to use with the tailgate open. Perhaps just loosening it a bunch and letting it sit lower would work. Gravity pulls the bottom down and at the very least it would be at an angle?. Guess ill just have to wait and see.

Any one try this on a tailgate with a tonneau cover? Looks like the straps should easily go under the lid but id still be curious to hear about any one elses experience.
