Ordered a set of EBC green stuff pads and new rotors. Didn't know they used this NUCAP brake piston cushion insert. My kit only came with 7, not 8 (thanks EBC). Anyone out there happen to have one or know if you can use the toyota shims until I can get a hold of EBC? I've got my brakes torn apart already. Hindsight is always 20/20....shouldve counted the hardware before I went to work on it....too late now though.

I’d start calling around to see if anyone has them in stock. Buy another set, get the one piece from EBC and then return the pads you bought putting the one piece in that box.

Aside from that I honestly don’t know aside from waiting for EBC.

    Good luck!

Do the rotors and one side of the brake pads? Then wait for the missing parts. Or return to stock and wait for parts.

You’re not in hot water. Stuff happens.

Just put the stock stuff back on. Order what you need, not like your in the middle of a engine rebuild. Live and learn

Thanks guys. I wound up figuring out that part of the toyota shim kit for one side was roughly the same thickness as those inserts. The stock stuff was thrashed, didn't wanna reinstall. Temp install of that shim will get me through a week or so. Anyways, thanks again.

    Stock....ish
You should change your thread title. Very misleading and typically SOS is used for actual emergencies.

Hope you can get some help with your brakes. Throw the stock ones back on and wait for the correct parts to come in.
