I've found a few threads for the 2nd gen, and not sure if it's the same, but does anyone have a tutorial for headliner removal? I started a thread a week ago asking for help with ideas on where and how to install my interior emergency lights, or at least idea's on the install. The lack of responses means I'll need to wing it, and try to document it to help the next person.

Anyone that's removed their headliner have any best practices to pass on?

I have a headliner removal thread for 2nd gens, but as the thread grew some 3rd gen owners chimed in and gave their input to the project as well. Heres alink to the beginning of the thread:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/removing-your-headliner-and-insulating-sound-deadening.394469/

You can read about 3rd gen owners chiming in starting here. Basically the same procedure, but with a few minor differences.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...g-sound-deadening.394469/page-6#post-12576168

Hope this helps. If anything I would suggest you try responding to the comments made by the 3rd gen owners there and see if they can offer more insight. The more information we can add, the more helpful it will be for people wanting to do this in the future.

Awesome, thanks for letting me know where the 3rd gen stuff started! I glanced through there the other day and missed those.
