that does look really good! question...does it need "slots" on the back of it to connect a mid skid to? Not sure how the T4R is setup underneath, just know that's how ours connect.

Yeah, it'll need slots or what I'll probably do is match drill two holes. Since its still in my "R&D" stage, I'm going to wait and build the mid skid and once I can see both of them on the truck together, I'll drill the holes with them both on the truck then take measurements that I'll use for later builds.

So, I saw a guy on County Line Road yesterday with a 3rd gen that he had an Alu-Cab installed in the bed. Looked very nice. Truck was black. Anybody know him? Sadly I don't have a picture. Wondering where he would use such a rig to its fullest around here but nonetheless, still cool.

 

I have the sharpened socket if you need to cut the weather strip. I don’t mind you coming by my place to do it, but it would need to be soon.

 

I've got a little hole saw that fits on my drill. Do you think that would work? I really just need somebody to help me lift it up on the truck.

 

Depends on how tight you want them to fit. Mine could almost be considered water tight. East Limestone is out of my way and unfortunately, I need to be at the house this week/weekend working on things.
