Shot in the dark but I just received my TRD PRO skid plate. The new skids now come with red raised TRD letters attached to the skid (which I do not like), looking for someone that might have the “older” TRD PRO skid without the red letters (in excellent condition), that might want to trade (before I return it / exchange with dealer).

    Here is mine:

GLWS... did you buy from dealership? I'm thinking about getting one but I'm wondering where the best prices are at?

Damn, I went ahead and ordered another one. Lol.

If for whatever reason the dealer has not come through with the new skid (by the time you are in town), I would be glad to meet up and do the exchange. You have exactly what Im looking for.

Do those red letters not pop off? They look like stickers placed inside the mold?

Im sure they can be removed, but they are attached very securely to the plate and have slots for attachement. These arent some cheap vinyl inserts. The inserts appear to be some sort ABS / POM plastic (3D). Looks very high quality. Just not my style.

Red accents on an orange truck? No thank you. :goingcrazy:

Figured I can trade with someone that would appreciate the red accents.

No longer looking to trade. Ended up having the dealer locate the older version and just did an exchange.

Looking for a recommendation on a skid plate that doesn't have to be removed to change the filter. Any suggestions?

As you can see from the above pics, the TRD skid has a small plate with 4 allen screws that you remove to access the filter without removing the whole skid plate.
