I wish I would have added more paper to cover more of the truck. I got lazy. I had a lot of over spray. It comes off with a solvent but was a bitch nonetheless. I also did it on a semi-windy day like a dumb ass.

There is a constant wind out here that makes it impossible not to overspray. I should just spray the whole truck black.

I bet with the right amount of paper and tape you build a open type paint booth right ont he side of the truck to help with over spray, and just tape the shit outta it. it only needs to protrude away from the side of the truck like 4"

Wheel spacers will always be aluminum, maybe steel but I've never seen them that way. Lift spacers or top hat spacers will be poly, steel, aluminum.

I'm likely confused, of course. I understood it to be these:

Those are for people running incorrect wheels on their rigs. Basically the wheel hub is larger than the vehicle hub which is not only damaging to the lug studs and is dangerous but also generally causes vibrations. The way I understood his post is he installed something like a SpiderTrax wheel spacer which is likely what created the need to hammer down the pinch weld. Who knows, maybe were both wrong lol.

    Did all the emblems too.
Don’t know how long the plasti-dip will last since I run through brush all the time and pinstriping is normal for me.

I have extra pink paint. I need suggestions on where to Plasti dip pink accent on my wheel center caps. Then, suggestions on how to plasti- dip them.

Truck looks good, that appears to be more trouble than it's worth though for those center caps. Could do the whole center cap, then peel emblems for unique standout difference.
