Last week my truck threw a CEL when I was leaving work. I drove about 8-10 Kms and made a stop at a parking lot to drop off my coworker. When I turned the truck back on the CEL turned off but it came back on within an hour of driving. When I got home and scanned it, it came up as "P0606 ECM/PCM processor" fault. I cleared the code. It didn't come back on till I had to make another trip. When I scanned it again, the same P0606 code came up.

I cleared it again and it stayed off till yesterday. It came on within a minute of starting the truck but again it turned off after I had turned the truck off at a stop I made.

What do you guys think? I've searched on tw and found a few threads outlining a whole bunch of stuff to check but I have no idea where to start. Is the ECM easily accessible through the glovebox so I can check the connections?

    It's a 2006 v6 automatic 4x4 with ~359,0000 Kms
    Thanks, AK27

Zombie thread. @AK27 did you ever figure this out? I have the p0606 code after doing a river crossing. Cleared it and now it comes on every so often, seems to be triggered by moisture. Thinking o2 sensor but not really sure

po606 is typically caused by a bad bank 1 sensor 2 or bank 2 sensor 2 oxygen sensor
