I took extremely good care of my taco, was planning to keep it for a hundred years! Unfortunately, my family & work have pushed me to make a practical move towards a more spacious hybrid vehicle. I am sad to see her go, but I hope the new owner will make better use of her. She has 24,000 miles; 75% of which was used on the 8 freeway between San Diego & Yuma AZ.

I am also including an extra month of Soapy Joe's Subscription with the top-of-the-line "Magic Potion" Package & a 24-pack of PEAK microfiber auto cloths!!!

Priced to sell. Firm on 40k.

I agree, seeing a Tacoma being treated like a Z06 is cringeworthy

I agree with both of you PNWskibum & Tacospreme. It is a dam* shame. I feel bummed out by the entire affair. Took me 1.5 years to actually get her, and now I have to see her go.
She is in pristine condition precisely because she has been neglected. Like a racehorse confined to a shed. She needs to go out and roam the backwoods & trails of the world. Unfortunately, it will not be with me.
Life and family have kept me working and have not allowed me to truly appreciate a PRO. I hope the next owner will take her to new pastures.

Ironically one can get a base 4x4 without all the sticker price of a "pro" for low $30s, with $4-5K of parts in suspension one will get a better riding Tacoma than the Pro model ;/ choices choices lol

You can do many options; upgrade as you go but its still but its still not a Pro. More power to everyone.

Lol really ? So what makes a pro a pro aside from a badge, wheels, “upgraded” crappy shocks, different looking lights and thin skid plate ? All of which are useless if you’re going to do moderate off road

The leather itself is a pretty massive upgrade in my opinion. Can only get that on Pro and Limited if I am not mistaken?

Also, what is with all the attitudes about the stock off road equipment being useless? I hate that attitude. Just seems so snotty and pretentious. It's like people think you either have to go all out extreme off road, or your truck is a piece of crap, or in your words "useless". Isn't the stock stuff designed for 'moderate' off road? From what I have seen, the stock stuff seems pretty capable for a lot of stuff.

Not everyone wants to be an extreme off roader. Some may just want enough utility to get to their fishing or camping spot that a less capable vehicle couldn't handle.

    Sheesh...

no you can get leather in the TRD packages now. my mom got leather in her 18 TRDOR

the pro or trdor with a locker will do more than most will ever actually see. the 4x4s without a locker will get most people farther than they care to go anyways.

it's about bragging rights or something around here.

Oh wow. Haha, I guess I didn't actually get my 'exact' truck like I thought. I didn't see one OR or Sport on the lot with leather at any of the 4 places I looked, but I bought an '18 at the end of the year so they were limited. Looking back now I do remember seeing an option for the 'premium' package on the Toyota website which I am guessing upgrades to leather.

I got the TRD OR with tech package. Would have liked leather as well but considering I purchased so late, I got really lucky and otherwise got exactly what I wanted. Even the color.

And yeah, I will even be one to admit that my truck is probably more capable than I even need it to be, but who knows! My goal is to try and utilize it as much as I can.

yep, we ordered hers bare, no dealer add ons. they tried offering us some trucks they found close or on the lot and I turned them down.

2018 DCSB TRDOR Premium & Tech. there are no steps or anything silly like that. Then she ordered the best quality husky mats and bed mat.

she got hers for 37,800 OTD so before tax and all that jazz it was something like 35,500. I had to co sign with her to get it that low because together we qualified for most rebates.

could you imagine being military, in college, and some of the other rebates they offer.

anyways free bump OP. nice truck

    ...too much shit to list.
So let me get this straight. You bumped someone’s for sale thread that hasn’t had a reply in over a month, just to put your worthless opinion into? Did I get that about right? I suggest you review the site Code of Conduct and Buy/Sell/Trade rules or you will find your tenure here rather short.
