Jurassic World...… Save your money. They just put the last three sequels in a blender then poured out this mess. - Same goes for " Aliens Covenant ". A sorry addition to a great series of movies.

This is a great thread. All horror movies suck these days.

I just watched Hereditary the other night and it freaked my wife out for several nights. It was definitely different and as always, the best horror films end with everything going sideways. Who wants a horror film that ends with a happy ending. If I wanted that, i'd watch a f***ing disney movie :D

Watching the top the three (in my opinion) this weekend: Aliens (1986), Die Hard (1988) and Terminator 3 (2003)

Aliens is the only one I'd classify as "Horror".

I subscribed to Shudder last week. It’s like Netflix but all horror. They have some pretty decent stuff, and they are offering a 30 day free trial with the code SHUTIN.

Some good ones I have watched so far are Terrified (if you don’t mind subtitles), The Taking of Deborah Logan, and Hell House, LLC.

I'm not big horror fan, but Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity, The Babadook. I guess I prefer lower budget ones that leave more to the imagination.

1954 "Creature from the Black Lagoon" is worth a look.
So campy you'll find yourself rooting for the Creature

Not so much a movie but rather a two-part miniseries that lasts about three hours. But it's the creepiest vampire movie I've ever seen.
