I will post a pic tomorrow when back in the shop. Basically transfers the center of a hole to another workpiece. They come in different diameters. Work great when making a copy off an old piece. I believe Hazard Fraud sells them. Mine were my dad's. No clue where he got them.

Some things I do without thinking. Figured maybe some of you guys didn't know this trick. Honestly do not remember where I picked it up.

I always tried to guess where the center of a hole was when trying to copy a hole pattern from another piece.

Me gusta, great minds think alike. I did that a few years back when I was too cheap to go from 6" to 5" shackles

 

Sounds like a cool show, I never heard of it. But there's post war Japanese and German vehicles as early as 1946 so doesn't seem like a huge stretch

 

Was there some public apology that I missed?
Was Joe compensated for his loss?

Tim pretty cool mounting Idea with those jack stands,if and when you drop your trailer tailgate does it interfere?
