The STL I've encountered has signs at access points (these could be ripped down or you took a side trail and unknowingly entered). There is STL near the south superstition mountains, on the western Bradshaw's, and probably alot of other places. It's good to have the pass, just that many more places you can go.

I’ve you’ve not been lately, the dirt road is coming along well after the rains, and the repaved section to the towers is like butter. Time it nicely for the spectacular sunset this eve

I finally got a chance to get out a little. I took my daughter out to the Sycamore Creek area for a little light four wheeling.
I ended up getting into an area where I felt armor was needed and while getting the truck turned around on a tight spot I got temporarily delayed. I'm glad I haven't sprung for the SCS F5s I've been coveting.

I didn't get any pictures in the tight spot as I was busy getting unstuck, but we had a blast.

If you get nice wheels then be prepared for them to get scarred too. Eventually it will happen. I tried keeping mine nice then just stopped caring.

    Here's one of mine:

I know. It's always the first scratch that hurts the most on anything new. :)
