Need Suggestions for new brakes.

So i have a 2015 tacoma and i've always been a hard breaker and i drive up in the mountains a lot so i go down hill often. i've went through 2 pairs of oem brake pads because they got to hot and the pads cracked. i have tried 2 aftermarket companies, Powerstop and EBC Brakes for new rotors and pads and they have both caused me problems that i wont really get into. Now im back to running factory rotors and Aftermarket pads that need to be replaced soon. Im trying to find rotors that are slotted to give me a more of a bite when braking and pads that will not cause me problems and will last a decent amount of time. Does anyone have any brand suggestions for me? Im having trouble finding something for my truck, any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
