What was your 3rd Gen registration renewal cost this year?

I am expecting my renewal to come up soon and am trying to get an idea of how many limbs I need lob off to sell to pay for it.

Feel free to pm if not comfortable to share publicly. I appreciate the insight.

 

Not a 3rd gen, but if it helps, my '13 (that I bought just this year so the reg may be a little higher) came out to $405.

 

$452 on mine in Iowa

Yea, sorry guys. I'm looking for SoCal 3rd gens since that's what I have.

 

I payed $550

 

Not a 3rd gen but new in 2015. It's due in Nov. $420

 

3rd Gen 2016 DCSB OR 2wd
$499 I paid in may 2018, it was $418 last year

 

$525 for my 2017 DCSB sport 2wd. Can't wait to get out of California haha

I'm in VA. Reg was a couple hundred BUT county tax is really bad. 4.5% annually is about $2000/year. The rate is lowered for the first $25k but it still works out to well over $1k in county tax annually.

 

It's essentially a tax paid to the state in order to make your vehicle legal to drive on the roads. It is used to maintain the roads but usually (always) gets pissed away on everything besides roads.

Gotcha! I guess our fuel taxes could say are the equivelant then. Gov takes their cut and hopefully gives some back to the municipalities to upkeep roads.
But I'd much rather pay a one time fee! Other cost we have is license plate registry annual tags. About~ 50 to 100

 

Registration renewal is the same as annual tags. Depends on the state. My state is about $68.

 

I paid $539 back in Jan.
2016 DCSB 4x4... so it's on its 2nd renewal.

Well I found out how to dodge last years renewal fees.

Oh yeah, the U.S. federal government and California state government take their cut on gas taxes as well. I paid $407 to renew my registration and $337 last year.

 

2013 Tacoma. Mine is due this month $340

And that is with the Legacy Plate

 

2005 just paid $297 this week. Think it was around $450 when i bought it new. It won't go down much. Damn commercial title. I know it's not a 3rd gen but figured I would let you know what you have to look forward to.

 

$49 for my 2016 Tacoma, $49 for my son's 2011 Ranger, and $39 for my daughter's 2011 Wrangler. No additional taxes in Ohio after the sales tax when you buy it.
