Go online and get a quote Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa. I used their quote to negotiate my deal locally SF area. They are by far the best priced dealership within a couple hour drive of the Bay Area. If I had the time I would have gone up to buy from them instead of the local dealer.

There are deals in CA too, I bet Freeman is much lower then that quote you got. Here is the deal I got, except I got all weather mats thrown in too.

Jesus I was quoted for a 2017 TRD OR with 23000 miles for 36000 OTD dealer wouldn't budge at all.

There was a dealer in Kentucky offering $5500 off all TRD's (Sports and Off Roads) including the $1000 from Toyota. They didn't have much in stock when I heard about it. but I was able to get $4,500 (including the $1000 from Toyota) off my TRD from the local dealer. They really were tough on the last $500.

I can see why that would happen - Dealer has a price paid (trade-in/auction) plus their own overhead. If you’re not meeting it, no sale. Also, 2017 will have some “special demand” by those who eschew the non-optional TSS that appears in 2018. With those numbers, I would guess it was a 2 year lease turn in or a trade-in for a Tundra.

I was quoted $32k for a new ‘18 Tacoma Double Cab 4wd, 6-speed manual, Off Road package, and no other options. Cement color. Seems like a good deal. The price includes the current $1k incentive.

Seems like you almost have better luck buying new rather than used. They tend to have more give from what I can tell. Where from ?

Do the math both ways (with/without) for finance % versus finance % + $1K. It all depends on cash down, term, etc. Sometimes It's better to take the 1K and eat the percentage difference, especially when the rates are as low as they are.

Depends if your putting a big down payment. But at 35k $ your looking at about 900$ in total interest per every 1% interest APR. More than likely the 1.9% will be a better deal.

Our fav dealer (Freeman Toyota) qouted me $35,748+taxes for a '18 OR with prem/tech package, moonroof and tow hitch.

MSRP is $36k+$3600 dealer installed options= $40K total . So I guess about $4k under total msrp.

Doesn't scream like a price that I should drop everything and make that 2 hr drive to them? Thoughts? Or should I haggle it down even further but Freeman has sold to a bunch of folks here so apparently their pricing is legit....

Thats a not a bad deal, I would ask for that price before the 1k incentive. You have to finance through TFS though to get it so depending on how tour financing you may be able to do better.

^ So I'm guessing my quoted price of $35k (incls the $1k Toyo rebate) is decent for the 4x4 OR prem+tech+moonroof+tow hitch? I emailed Freeman again and looks like this is as bottom as they'll go considering they are almost sold out of all 2018's now.

Wonder if I should go down there tomorrow and just end this ordeal and sign the papers..LOL.

Nice! In the long run, price doesn't matter. If you're happy with it, that's it. Nice road trip to desolate places and you'll forget about MSRP, invoice, APR, blah blah.

Any good dealers near Fresno CA area. Looking for a 16-18 DCSB OR edition but I keep finding used around 20,000 to 30,000 miles best deal I've come across is a 16 DCSB OR with prem+tech+moonroof+tow hitch? (fully loaded) as far as I can tell with 33,000 miles on it for quoted OTD for 34,336. At this point in CA I feel as if this is a good deal. Ive seen a few good deals in this forum in CA and can hardly believe it. Lucky @sses

I personally would rather just buy a new one from dealer. You do save yourself roughly 5-6 grand but I believe its worth it since you never know how the old owner treated the truck.

Gonna be patient and wait it out about longer unless I find some dealer willing to go that low now. In the market for a cement DCLB TRD O/R w/tech package for $35k or less (before TTL) in Texas or somewhere in the south...
