What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Took off the FN Pro’s dark gray gloss, Nitto G2’s 265/70R17 and slapped on the FN Pro’s bronze and Nitto G2’s 285/70R17....no rubbing with mud flaps so far....goes faster ....33 mpg!
Well, last 2 were uuuhhhh.....
Tacoma World has made me vain...
And killed my bank account.

it was plug and play (if you already have the auto dimming compas Mirror ... it took about 5 minutes total, just remove the old mirror #20 torqx bit, unplug the existing connector, plug the connector into the new mirror, install new mirror, and let the calibration process run its course and that’s pretty much it ... it took longer for me to program the garage door button than install.

 

What have I done? I done F'd up A-Aron! I installed (correctly as far as I could tell) an always on harness. When the head unit was out, it worked like a charm. I mounted the head unit, careful not to pinch any wires. Now I have all sorts of issues. Windows wont go up (yeah they were down during the install), the lane departure is pissed off, the AC won't turn on, and I have a collection of "go see your dealer you numbnuts" error messages.

Is there a "reset" process of sorts? I'm sure to pay out the nose for this mistake, but was wondering if there is something else I can check before taking it to the dealer.

 

Today I became a total gasshole!

Question...so I got brand new TPMS on my new set of wheels. They are registered to my truck because my tire pressure light is not on anymore. However, it is not reading or displaying the actual numbers on the screen. Am I missing something?

 

Did you check for any blown fuses?

Did they hit the reset button everyone talks about?

 

Yeah. I had Les Schwab do it and even the guy mentioned that button but maybe I need to do it while I’m driving. Thoughts?

Took apart my test light today to try some ideas. My current headlights have the high beam blacked out and not used. They look great but kinda looks off just empty. Wanted to fill it with full size dummy with matching halo but it's too big without major modding and I'm no Meso. Gonna have to find something smaller.

 

From what I've read you reset it then drive over 25mph for 10 min?

 

Ok. I’ll go try it now. Does it matter if you go like 60 or should it be around 25-30?

Just says over 25. I looked at a few posts and some have had similar problems and one said they went over 70 and it started working again
