Did you ever make the hitch on the standard bumper hidden behind the license plate?

Not on this model. We used to make a different model that had a hidden hitch option but we never sold very many of that version. We quit making that model a couple of years ago.

You should consider sliding it up 2” - looks so much better, plus gives you just a little more clearance! :fingerscrossed:

Funny I wanted the lower hitch. It’s one of the many reasons I chose this bumper over the other options. I know you can get a drop tow hitch receiver. But I like this style better.

We won't be offering a hidden hitch in this bumper, sorry.

So I got stuck mounting the swing out.
@traxman25 I’m having trouble getting the swing arm lined up which is causing the lock to jam. I don’t see any easy adjustments :notsure:
Also does it matter how far the dust cap seal thing is recessed in the pivot?

You just need to push down on the swing out. The bearings may be sitting up slightly and will seat down with added weight. Also the swing out is preloaded to be up slightly to compensate for the weight of the fuel being added on there. Your seals look good to me. You do NOT want the seal touching the bearing or you'll have difficulty getting the inner sleeve into them.

Copy. I have the main bolt torqued to 90 foot pounds. The swing out motion is smooth and solid. Which means there is no play. I tried hanging on it with my body weight but can’t get it to bend down. :annoyed:

For the dust seal I pushed it right to the beveled line of the pivot. There is about 3/16” of space between the bearing and seal:thumbsup:

Yeah sometimes loading the bearings down when tightening will help. We alight the latch studs as the very last step of putting these together, using the carrier that is built for your bumper so it is very rare to have any issues with that.

Yes a 33 will fit in the stock spare tire location.

We offer light mounts for the small Rigid SRM standard mount lights, which is a 3x4" rectangle tube cut into the bumper, or SRM or Baja Designs S2 flush mount lights.

That connector should fit. You might need to drill new holes for the bolt holes.

Can I purchase the connector and send it to you to have the correct cut into the bumper?
