Thank you - not sure if this is an issue or not, seeing a vague youtube install video.. 6 mount bolts apparently, with two in immediate area of, or involving the hitch for support. One of few aftermarket bumpers that retains stock receiver, apparently.

I remember installing mine and I had to reach in where the stock bumper was nothing to do with the tow hitch but this was a good minute. I'm at work until 6am and I'll see what I can take pictures of. But if memory serves me right no tow package required.

Thank you Sir - by the photos the trailer hitch (factory or aftermarket) is entirely independent of the bumper assembly. Just as i had hoped, rather than by the vague discriptive video, what i feared.

Good thing too.. just got back from ordering it.

    Thanks again.

Took advantage of a labor day sale at 4WP and ordered the rear FF bumper for my truck. I will need to adjust it a bit when I get some time, but overall I think it looks great! Install was easy - just helps to have a friend help put it in place. And my rear hitch works, which was the one thing I was looking for. I don't plan to get the tire carrier so I'll be putting in the plastic covers in all of the open holes. Didn't want them to rust out so a little rustoleum was applied to the threads. Tomorrow I'll pop the plugs in. IMG_6552 (2).jpg IMG_6553.jpg IMG_6540.jpg IMG_6538.jpg

    Good job, cmartinez95.

It was an easy install .. i received mine two weeks ago, and installed it on the last weekend of August. It was a heavy bumper, but i managed the install entirely on my own, using my mechanics stool hydraulic cylinder to bring it up to proper level, as an aid. However, I was only able to utilize the 4 main bumper hanger mounts .. the two utilizing the hitch mounting did NOT work with an aftermarket Class-3 hitch that i bought, in order to do the update in one go..but it didn't interfere with the installation, either - what Toyota Canada wanted for the OEM Class-3 kit, was just too painful on the bank account. I plan to revisit the additional mount points, with fabricating an adapter bracket, when the weather cools down a bit entering into the second half of September.

..and for the Paranoid Android in me.. applied reflective safety strips.

...Care to elaborate... does it not meet with your highly-opinionated standards of approval, or something?

If it doesn't, just move along, son... no need to 'thread crap' that which you neither understand, nor that which doesn't affect you..

Does anyone know if it would be possible to color match the bumper without too much work?
