Hi, I'm hoping maybe you can help me? I have an 06 Tacoma from a cold weather state, but now I have the truck here in SoCal. My truck is covered in rust, but no holes have been found. There's a new extension till 1/31/19 of getting the truck frame replaced. I was out of luck before, but now I'm a bit more hopeful. Do you know of any really large dealerships in SoCal I could possibly take my truck into for another inspection? I am afraid they could have over looked things. You had mentioned above, that So Cal dealerships probably haven't done many frame replacements like the mid west/east coast. If you have any thoughts about where to go, I do not mind driving far at all. Thank you so much. Georgia (I might just post a new thread asking)

The only way it "passes" for replacing the frame is if there are any holes/perforations at specific locations on the frame. Surface rust is nothing and usually gets ignored unless it's flaking really bad.

Also, being an '06 wouldn't it be 2021 for 15 years?
