I'm in the middle of a 3rz auto to manual swap at the moment and we're running into some wiring issues. So I have a 1995.5 3rz and a 1996 manual harness and apparently there are 2 sensors that aren't compatible to the 1996 harness which are the purge valve and the fuel vapor pressure sensor. Is there a way to by pass those sensors and not having the ecu throw a code? Maybe just buying the sensors for the 1996 3rz? Everything lines up and connects perfectly just those 2 sensors are different.

So you have started the engine it runs good but for codes from only those two sensors .

    upgrade to the 96 sensors.

I am surprised you only have 2 that are not pinned correct or plugs are completely different

Thanks for the reply and sorry for the late reply by me lol but anyways yes, the truck is running fine and we decided to reuse the auto harness to make it a much simpler and stock looking swap but it obviously throws a code due to the 96 ECU searching for the 2 missing sensors. The code is P0450 Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch. So I'm guessing when the 96 3rz came out, emissions changed. My charcoal canister seems to be missing 2 VSV/sensors vs the 96+ 3rz Engines. The solutions I'm looking at is either find a 95 ECU (much more costly) or find a 96+ charcoal canister that has the 2 missing sensors on them including the hoses that route to wherever they're supposed to be.

I think your canister would work, it has the right ports, though you may have to drill the small one on the "bridge" area out. So you would have to buy the 2 sensors and a few hoses. Those should be available from a dealer, and certainly used online. Your bottom pic matches my memory of my 1996 truck, though I no longer have it so can't be sure. on my 1999 they moved some of the stuff (mainly the pulsing VSV, top right in your second pic) over to the firewall for some reason. Another thing to consider is that the early Tacos (maybe through 1997?) had California and non-California versions, so you may be seeing different versions there too.
