2013 Brake Fluid Question

    Looking to flush out the brake fluid in my 2013 TRD sport and cant seem to find any info on best fluid to use and/or how much... Any help would be appreciated.

    Owners manual calls for Dot 3.

    Use any Dot 3. I would flush at least a qt.

    I use DOT3 Full Synthetic Brake Fluids! Amsoil,Lucas,and many others have it too.

    Yeah. Just get a big bottle of Dot3 at your local parts store, brand doesn't matter here. Pickup some 1/4" ID clear plastic tubing and a glass jar/soda bottle to make your bleeder. The bleeder kits at parts stores are a waste of money. Have a friend sit in the truck and pump your brakes up while you start the bleed/flush procedure. I did RR, LR, BPV, RF, LF in that order. Refill the resevoir every 5 times you crack a bleeder valve, do not let it run dry. Just flush until the fluid coming out of each line is clear, then refill and move onto the next. Shouldnt take but an hour or so, no need to even get the truck on jackstands. I like the 2 person method best, the key is good communication. I didnt have good luck with a 1 person method, but thats just me. This video is pretty good.

    I bought a one person kit......$20 on Amazon......

    messy as hell if not used correctly........either way....just do it

    buy a gallon of good DOT 3 and flush system....
