I use spray 9 on mine and pressure wash them. No scrubbing and they dry very black.

Finally picked up a set of these. Went with the 265/75/16. No rubbing on a 5100, 885 OME, Dakar's AAL lift. I'm really happy with them so far.

OP, thanks for your help. I ended up buying a new set on my way home from PA as I got a freakin blowout. Took out the inside wall of my back left tyre. Just filled up with gas at a Pilot in Meridian, MS and think I may have run over something a truck a left behind. Didn’t have much of a choice at that point. Made it home on my spare and went straight to the tyre shop.
    Thanks again

Bought the BF KO2 last month.
Now that winter is really here in Canada,,minus 19 this morning,,,
    Well,here are my thoughts.
Good in snow, different then ice regular tirers for sure.
But really sucks on ice,,,very deasapointed, but i guess i ll use them all year round, but next winter i ll buy another real set of BF Blizzack tirers..
    That's my opinion of course.:)

I have the old KOs and noticed this as well in comparison to the KO2s. It's got to be the rubber compound. I'm not thrilled with how hard and bad the old KO rubber compound is, and as far as I'm concerned the slight discoloration on the new ones is nothing too worry about since the rubber compound is actually better.

These are so bad on Asphalt + Rain. Great for everything else though. I'll live (hopefully :D )

I'm considering the C-load KO2's in 265x70x17. Can anyone speak from experience on how much these affected their MPG and overall experience from stock tires? I'll be on the road 95% of the time but want a mean look and stronger tire for when i actually do go offload. I am thinking the C-Load is a decent middle ground between a P-rated and E-rated tire.

I get 18-19 us mpg right now with load e 265/75/16 in mixed driving but a lot of 50 mph stuff. They didn't really affect my mpg at those speeds. Now the 275/70/17 in my 2016 4runner hurt mpg a lot more from what I'm seeing.

I have the KO2s, but also a set of snow tires (BFG Winter Slaloms on TRD Bronze wheels bought off CL years ago) that I wanted to run one more year on. My concern was ice, so I appreciate your review of them in ice. I see so many trucks with these tires as all-year tires.
So next year I'll replace the snow tires with new ones (Blizzaks or Nokians) and keep the

I see 2 "c's" I assume one means load range c, likely the first one though

Yeah the C1 is the load rating. Not sure about the second one. The RWL versions don’t have that on there.

This has been asked 5000 times... but I'm limited to E Load. I have an SR5 with 245/75r16. I want to stay that size because I like how skinny they are. BFGs are ~48 pounds in this size.

Am I going to be kicking myself every day because the sidewall is going to rattle my spine? Or are there alot of overreactions?

I am on my 3rd set of E range ko2's. First my 4runner (275/70/17) then my Tacoma (265/75/16) and now my tundra (275/65/20) and if you run them 40 psi or less like I have/do I don't notice a difference. I think when load range E gets rough is when you run 60, 70 psi etc in them for heavy loads. My experience

By chance do you know if KO2 come in any other load range other than E 275/70/17?
