If you decide to go and leave late, let me know. Class is the reason I wasnt going to go but if we get a second caravan started from the east bay I might be interested in tagging along

So looks like I can't take off the night of 11/9 (I work nights) but I don't have to be back at work till Monday night. So I'm thinking about heading up the on Saturday and coming back on Monday

Is the plan to stay in the same spot both nights or will you guys be staying in a different spot Sunday night?

My truck is a designated weekender/camping mobile. I'll probably have anything extra you might need.

I do this as much as I can. It makes life at camp much better. Of course there's a limit to it. Like pre-cooked ribeye or salmon aren't so great. On the other end of the spectrum sometimes I like making bread from scratch in my dutch oven.

I'm leaving around 2:30 Friday afternoon. If I can't find the main group Friday night I'll just camp by myself and meet up Saturday morning.

Do you guys just want to meet at the trail head at some time in the morning? We can decide on the time closer to the date.

Hahaha I'm actually still debating if I should throw those on for this trip or wait til Jan-Feb when the LT goes on so I dont have to worry about clearance issues with the fender/frame.

But yeah if you end up going, let me know so I can bring your gift...

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
@CalTacoma09 if I end up going maybe we can do a caravan with these fellas since we wouldn't be leaving until around this time anyways.

The plan (in my head) is to pull up near the trailhead and then scout some locations. I've been dropping pins on Google maps. Once the location is decided, I'll go back down the hill until I have a signal and post the coordinates. For those without GPS, I'll post signs.

Hey Jase, might be a good idea to start a second or third list stating which day and time each group intend on departing...might make it easier for some to group up that aren't able to make the first shift. just a thought...

How do you like that tent? Is it hard to set up? I have been thinking about getting a truck tent. Either its going to be a truck tent or soft topper.

It’s great for what it is, takes about 15min to setup once you have figured it out. You can also undo the straps to the truck, slide it out for the day if you need to use your truck. I mainly use it for dirt bike riding trips or family camping so it stays in the truck for the entire time.

This is very interesting set up. I was thinking about more of @2BeersPlease setup. Something like this: https://www.autoanything.com/truck-...MIoaKnkMqL3gIVi4TICh0RFAuNEAQYAiABEgIaX_D_BwE
But then I think about getting soft topper that way I can take my dog with me without worrying about it.

ProZ looks nice, I think the Napier tents are better quality though. Mine is a very old version of this.
