i need to put a 90 degree fitting on the body of my Bilstein 7100 resivior Shocks for clearance reasons. The hose fittings aren’t anything special apparently, and I can’t seem to find any for sale online for that specific application. Has anyone done this or know what fitting I would get?

I realize I’ll need to dump the charge in the shocks then recharge them.

Probably a -6 NPT to -6 JIC but that depends on the size of hose you have now. Or what fittings are currently on the shock or if it's a welded on JIC.

AND.... There is a lot more to do than just dumping the nitrogen charge.

The shock body is welded/threaded and the braided hose screws in

And I did read that there was more to changing the hose than just dumping the charge and unscrewing that hose, but I can’t imagine why. What will have to be done internally to unscrew that hose.
The hose is actually what broke, it pinched after the bolt backed out and lost pressure

Do you understand how hydraulics work? If there is air in the system they don't work. You will need to fully disassemble the shock to replace the hose, reset the IFP correctly, and refill with oil.

Settle down. If I knew the internal workings of hydraulics and these shocks I wouldn’t ask “why is this necessary”

I have rebuilt plenty of motorcycle shocks but resiviors are a new thing to this pea brain. I’m intending on having a pro handle it but if parts are t available in time to drop it off going through salt lake i might need to learn this procedure my self

I tragically just got off the phone with them, they’re in Reno for the u4 race till after I’m driving back through salt lake, or I would have dropped them off there. I called another Offroad shop in salt lake that is gonna swap the hoses/fittings and repressurize the for me
