OV Tuned opened up Pandora's box. I bet they could tune it to where you get better gas mileage by only giving you access to 25% of the throttle and setting a 55mph limiter...

Haha. I looked at that, but a prius doesn't do well on a muddy farm road.

    This ^^.

Unfortunately, @Bishop2Queens6, mpgs and performance are somewhat mutually exclusive. That said, as you read through the the Tacoma ECU Tuning for 4.0L thread, I think you'll conclude OVTune managed an impressive feat in cracking our ECUs. Moreover, he delivered solid results to many early adopters. Unfortunately, he remains more focused on supporting 3rd Gens than our trucks. This causes an almost perpetual state of over-promise and under-deliver, leaving some 2nd Gen customers with nothing to show (e.g., Calibration ID #30473000) and others of us longing for more (e.g., Supercharged V2 Calibrations).

FWIW, I recommend waiting for service/timeliness improvements that are supposed to come from recent staffing increases he's made.

Wondering if a tune on my 1GR would be a good match with intake, exhaust and 4.88 gears!
