    I'm game to do that with the next Fall Camp & Ride, but this is the Annual Meet. Tradition says it's gotta be Citrus. Besides which, Citrus is just getting interesting again with that slippery corner on Trail 8 and 19 and the Humpty Dumpty washout on trail 14...assuming they don't ruin those spots between now and then.

    Anyway, besides Hardrock which IMHO is too small to spend the weekend at, there really isn't anywhere else remotely resembling technical wheeling that I know of. If someone else knows of someplace, they're keeping quiet about it. Besides, that's just what they want, to run us off and I'm not inclined to let them win.

    That was kinda of my vision for the Fall Camp & Ride, to wheel other places besides Citrus so we could just keep the Annual Meet there since it's centrally located to the rest of the state and it's 2WD friendly.

    @Trident904 and I discussed it and did some research before last year's (2017) Fall Camp & Ride, and we pretty much came up with nothing. Only places I've heard anything about in North Florida are Osceola and some tiny ORV park that is mostly a mud bog but has a few trails that looked a little like Redrock, but they don't really have a campground there. Osceola is basically the same thing as Richloam: lots of mud and water.

    And you have to admit, Citrus was a somewhat more challenging in a couple of spots than it has been the last few times.

    That said, if you want to try to find a place to try out for the next Fall Camp & Ride, I'm game.

    Haha, after my regear, I might be down to try one of those trips. I'm still not terribly confident the OGT would survive the trip, especially doing 3 grand at 70 mph with an engine that seems a little loose on the bottom end, but maybe we could fab a tow bar for it and someone (Brian, so we could smoke like chimneys on the way there and back, haha) could drag it up there for me.

    I guess the people have spoken. The official date is February 8th-10th. When you guys start making reservations please leave site 20 or 22 for me please. :thumbsup:

    Also, we need someone to call the Withalochoochee Visitor's Center and get us a permit...for say around 30 trucks just to be safe. How much you wanna bet the campground is closed that weekend for renovations? o_O We may end up having to go to Tillis Hill which means no dogs allowed, but it is a slightly nicer campground with a little less uptight Ranger lady. She's a little curt, but she didn't bitch at us the two years we had the annual meet there.

    I'm not sure how it's going to work. I'll see if I can email that Melissa Stokes lady tomorrow and see what we need to do. It's only the end of October so hopefully we'll have a little time before available spots get hard to find. Like I said though, they were tearing up the two walk up sites about to put down some concrete or asphalt at the Fall meet so I wouldn't be surprised if the campground is suddenly closed for renovations (for us).
