Should be a sorta donut looking spot between the IFS arms. Put the jack in the middle, and both tires come off the ground. Or use the LCA arms to just get 1 off.

It's this. This picture is without the stock skid on, but even with it on, it's still visible.

That was the first thought that came to mind. Followed shortly by oil pan

Because the stock jack barely gives enough lift for anything and I don't trust the rusty frame...I put an 8 inch 2x4 at an angle to match the frame right where the red is here and jack from that spot so I can then put a jack stand under it on the wood so it doesn't go right through the frame :)

What? I thought that you could put the jack on any part of the frame that was solid.

you could, but these points are more balanced...the majority of the weight favors "falling" towards the grounded wheels so if lean on the jacked up quarter the truck doesn't fall..

You can! Which is handy in certain situations, but when you wanna get both front tires up at once then you need to use the front jack point.

Ahhh I see what you're both talking about.
Okay well no worries because I use like 5 or 6 jack stands because other wise I'm scared

my driveway (avatar) is just barely sloped to the street, but its pretty flat.

Tonight I put chocks behind both rear wheels, and then lifted the front end from the center support. I lowered the front end back down on 2 Jackstands at the Factory spots on each side. All good. I gave the front end the hand shake and it seems all solid.

I walk around the back and see that during the front end jacking up process the jack must have pulled the vehicle forward a few inches because those rear (triangle plastic wedge) chocks are not touching the tires! WTF!

So I quickly chocked Both sides of the back tires and all is still good to go.... solid, but that gap from tire to chock at first was not what I was expecting to see!!
