So I noticed you mounted the crossbar for your wind deflector in the 2 center holes. I mounted mine in the 2 bottom holes based on photos from the Prinsu FB page. I wonder if it matters?

After digging through here I wasn't able to find a good option to mount a set of TRED PROs. I saw the DIY angle iron and carriage bolt setups but since I plan to let these tracks live on the top of my truck until they are needed I really wanted to make sure they were secure and locked. Prinsu makes those mounting plates now but they are $125 and you still need to get the actual mounting pins.

I decided to just order one of the 4x4 TRED pro mounts and worry about how it will mount to the prinsu rack once it got here.
Well that day finally came and I gotta say, i'm super impressed with the quality of both the treds and the mount.

I had some of these M6 T-Nuts with ball springs that pop right in without having to remove the rails. (new prinsu racks have cutouts now so you don't really need the ball springs ones)

Unfortunately both of the rail slots don't match up perfectly with TRED mounting holes but with 4x M6 - 12mm hex bolts and washers it holds incredibly firm to the rail. Homedepot didn't have the right ones so i went to the hardware store and got lower profile ones so I could put the mounting bracket caps back on.
    [IMG] [IMG]

Now that the tred mount was up i wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any wiggling around from wind since the front is the only thing locked down. A 1/4-20 x 1.5" carriage bolt fits right in perfectly, then I got a 1/4-20 handle
    [IMG] [IMG]

Lastly, a luggage lock to deter from theft. yes I know that if someone really wants them this won't do much

Is your wind fairing lightly touching the roof? I have mine on the lowest setting because I didnt think it would touch in the middle. I like the way yours sits back just a little more.

The rubber piece I added at the bottom was a little thick so I mounted the wind deflector in the middle. I like these rack cause they’re modular so we are able to put them in different positions. As for If it matter Idk i think it’s all preference and they just give us options

Touching is good. Keeps wind out. I put 3m clear strip under mine to save the paint from when dirt gets under it. I'm hoping if I move it back one spot will cut down wind noise a little.

Was able to get the toprack to mount with no extra parts by swapping the factory rails (correcting the outward angle to flat).

Hey guys, I need help! I’ve made it this far and just now realized it looks like I was shorted some washers. Can anyone tell me what size I need? Silicone is already applied but luckily Home Depot is five minutes away.

I put my rack on last week and just happened to have some spare hardware laying around and was in the garage when the notification came through and I happened to actually look at the message. Glad I could help. It sucks you got shorted hardware, I got extras of everything!

Again thank you so much! I was able to get the fender washers and lock washers at Home Depot. $4. Got her mounted, squared up, and tightened down. Other than punching the holes through the weatherstripping, the whole process wasn’t too bad.
