    Update 9/4/2018:

Had such a great trip to the San Juans over Labor Day weekend. My girlfriend, dog and myself drove into Ouray on Thursday evening and just had a quiet night. We stayed at the Ouray KOA this night because I did not know what to expect in terms of camping crowds and wanted something reserved. Camp was relatively uneventful with the exception of the black bear that shredded our camp neighbors cooler early on Friday AM as we were getting ready to hike Mt. Sneffels.

After hiking Mt. Sneffels on Friday (our 12th 14er) we drove back down Yankee Boy Basin to Imogene Pass and had a blast taking this road over to Telluride. I did the obligatory picture on the ledge and at the summit as well!

From Imogene we wandered up to Alta Lakes Dispersed Campgrounds and had one of the quietest and darkest camping nights ever. For being Labor Day there was not much of a crowd and the critters of the forest were almost eerily quiet. I did not get many pics here as we rolled in late after spending some time in Telluride and enjoying a late dinner.

On Saturday we got coffee in Telluride and looked a.k.a DREAMED about houses before taking the pavement back into Ouray. The original plan was to take Ophir pass to Silverton but I developed a painfully stiff neck and didn't want to subject myself to more bumps then necessary. We also had planned at staying at the base of Handies Peak on Saturday night so we could hike our second 14er of the trip Sunday but it was brutally cold at elevation and from what I heard there was measurable snow that my GF and I were just not ready for.

We stayed at the KOA on Saturday night (again) and then did a nice easy day hike on Sunday before hanging in Silverton for the day.

Aside from the MISERABLE traffic home on Monday this trip was a total success but it leaves me very busy as I plan to head out to Moab this Thursday.

Nice rig. Thinking of mounting an awning on the back as well, does the camper shell windoor interfere at all while it is open and awning extended?

    Update: 10/1/2018 - Moab Trip Report (9/13 - 9/16)

Moab, as always, was RAD! This trip was especially rad because it was a guys trip focused on driving some of the most notable trails in Utah. We tackled Onion Creek, Fins and Things, Hells Revenge, and Top of the World Trail.

The group for this trip consisted of myself, my dog, and my two good friends/co-workers. We departed on Thursday around noon from Denver and drove straight to Onion Creek with only one stop in Rifle, CO for gas. Once we got to Onion Creek, we drove straight up the trail to the Onion Creek Hide-Out Campground, WHAT A GREAT CAMPSITE! This trip coincided with a new moon and holy moly were the stars incredible! I did have to take some time away from my stargazing to install my new RCI sliders at camp that night as they were not delivered to me in the time i was promised. Honestly it worked out for the best as I picked them up before powder coat and a good thing because these guys took a beating on this trip!

We did not get many pictures on Onion Creek as we were trying to get to camp before dark but here's what I have.

The next day (Friday) we went and did a quick hike at Corona Arch Trail in the morning and then made our way over to Fins and Things. This was my favorite trail of the the trip hands down. After getting over the initial pucker factor it was just fun! Lots of steep climbs and descents on the the slick rock and some steps and more technical obstacles on the backside of the trail!

Saturday was our big day! Hells Revenge in the morning and Top of the World in the afternoon!

Hells Revenge was super fun, it was not super crowded which was nice and we were able to really enjoys all parts of the trails. The only portions of the trails that I did not run were Hells Gate and The Escalator. Hells Gate may happen one day but I'll never take or get this truck up The Escalator. All of the other obstacles were pretty easily doable. I even did one of the hot tubs but unfortunately did not make it out to my third attempt which was cut off in the video. Oh well.

The last trail of the trip was The Top of the World trail. This trail was a ghost town which was quite nice but the trail was hard on us especially considering the day we had already had. We got on the trail so late we ended up coming down in the dark. Regardless, it was totally worth it!

    Thanks for watching!

Very well done, I like the direction your going with the truck. Seems like everything is well thought out. Did you ever weigh the drawer system? I’m back and forth on building a set, but I use the bed a lot and they would kill half the usable space.

Thanks! The system I currently have weights 152 lbs. I really do not notice the weight while driving and the trade-off i get for how efficient the system is totally worth it!

    Update 10/5/18:

I haven't done a ton to the truck recently but I have a few pictures to show the build progress.

First, I got the RCI sliders off of my truck after Moab and got them all cleaned up. I love these sliders and how they're overall shape compliments the truck. The legs of the sliders also tuck up super close to the pinch weld on the bottom side of the cab for maximum clearance. I bought the 5 degeree option with top plate so these can double as a step for my 5' 2" girlfriend. I power washed them and then hit them in spots with a wire wheel to take off some of the surface rust. Once clean I wiped them down with acetone and put down 4-5 coats of self etching primer. Once the primer was down I let it dry for 24 hours before putting down 5-6 coats of the Rustoleum Pro Enamel Flat Black Paint. Here are the results.

Also, I finally pulled the trigger on the Baja Designs Amber Fog Kit. These things are stupid bright but they do not overpower my Xenon Depot HIDs nor have I been flashed yet. I'll try to get some output pictures up soon!

Lastly, my favorite little mod that I have done is the DMM mount from The Taco Garage. This was a super quick and easy install. Paired with the DMM I also have the Perfect Squeeze phone mount and these two make for a super secure mount for my phone. I won't use it all the time but when I need GPS or I'm on a long drive this is where my phone will live. (PLEASE excuse my disgusting dash as I have not cleaned my truck since an impromptu trip to Moab last weekend, that damn moon dust gets everywhere)

Next up on my mod list is likely going to be the Mobtown Offroad Tube Bumper that they are planning to drop at the beginning of 2019!!

Everything about this truck is amazing. The drawer build was mind blowing to see you do that all with minimal tools. I have a similar thing going on (in my mind) for my truck but wow. Awesome awesome truck!

    I have 2 questions:
    1. The lift is about 2"?
    2. I couldn't find any mentions of the tires you have and what size.

I'm planning on doing a suspension lift soon, but may get new tires before and I'm looking into sizes.

He posted this on the first page, tires are 285/70/17 (33s). And I’d bet his lift is right around 2” with the 887s.

Lift is OME Nitrocharger with 887 coils and HD leaf pack, its right around 2" up front and 2.5" in the rear. As @Sub_Par said, tires are 285/70r17 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. Everything about my setup has been perfect for my use thus far.
