Thanks for the add. Just purchased my 4th Tacoma, an '03 RWD, manual. LOVE these trucks. Regret selling my last one, a '98 4x4 with low mileage. Live and learn, right? ;)

Just got it this past week and have replaced the headlights. New rear bumper and driver's door inner door seal going on this weekend. Doesn't need much, just a little bit of detailing and some touch-up paint here and there. She's in great shape.

Looking forward to learning and sharing tips, photos and experiences.

Well, unfortunately the great deal I got on this truck turned out to be not such a great deal after all. A few days after I bought it I started noticing what I thought was valve noise. Took it in to the shop today and they said it's likely a bad piston connecting rod bearing, and they're recommending replacing the engine, especially since the rest of the truck is so clean and rust-free. sonofabit…. Weighing my options but will likely go with a Jarco rebuilt engine. aarghh...

yeah it does. :( I've heard good things about Jarco engines so it'll probably be worth it. More than what I wanted to spend on this truck but it'll be like having a new truck for a lot less $$. Huge fan of these 1st gens.

New Jarco engine installed. Runs like a champ. 3 yr/36k warranty. Hopefully it'll last a long time.
