The Toytec Boss 2.0 rear socks are designed for 1"-3" lift, when you droop the suspension in the rear it can make the brake likes pretty tight but they still have some slack. I would recommend doing the brakelines, I run their front and rear stainless steel lines.

I was planning on doing the lines when it came time to service the brakes. Are you saying that I should have enough slack for the time being?

I reached out to toytech who kind of gave me the same answer that I didn't have to but it was recommended. That does not make me feel 100% comfortable taking the truck on long off-road/camping trips. I appreciate the feedback and will just order a set to get it done.

Yes you will still have enough slack, if you are doing brakes soon I would just hold off and do it all at the same time.

Anyone have boss 2.0 front coil overs with 700lb springs on a 3rd gen with a front steel bumper?

Debating on boss 2.0 700lbs or bilstein 6112 with 700lbs coils

I have the Boss shocks in the rear with a 2 inch rear lift and have no issues with the stock lines.

Have you tried to flex the suspension? I can drop the rear and the lines look OK but I heard that flexing one side down and the other up might put stress on the stock lines. I don't expect this to be an issue but I'm debating upgrading the lines for peace of mind when I'm far away from home.

They ride good and no complaints, but now with bumpers, full skids, sliders, larger battery, winch, topper, sleep platform, etc I’m looking at going to Kings. In hindsight I wish I knew I was going this deep down the rabbit hole and just went with Kings & Dakar leafs in the beginning. That said, if you’re not planning to mod tp the extreme, I can totally recommend them.

I had stock lines on until recently and they got flexed without any issues.

Stock lines looked a little tight at full droop without articulation so I went ahead and threw new lines on the rear. I was rebuilding and flushing my brake system anyway. I am glad I did.

Anyone go with replacement 5100's after their original Boss Struts were worn out...I put on 5100's on the front with my 650# coils and it is the roughest ride ever.

@Toytec Lifts Installing my kit right now. Do I need to drill holes for the rear reservoir mounts? There are none in the frame in the spots where the mounts should sit.

A small handful of select mods.
Typically yes. If the bolts are the self tapping type you need to drill a specific sized hole smaller then the bolt. Then hand tighten the bolt in. It should be included in the instructions. @Toytec Lifts

I went ahead and did it. It all worked out. I didn't get any instructions with my kit, so I've just been going off of what I've been reading and the ones available on their website. Thanks, @Gramps .
