Hello and thanks for the add.
I have a lovely 07 Tacoma TRD 4 door Manual v6 with the 3 inch lift and love this truck. I bought her new from the dealership with a few upgrades at the time of purchase. I'm now over 350K and its time for a new exhaust. I've had a people recommend a few different things but would love to hear any recommendations from this crowd. Stay OEM or aftermarket? Downsizing the cad converters as I live in Alberta Canada and we don't have the emissions regulations other areas have. How some mufflers add to the performance and fuel economy or consumption depending on what is used. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and have a wonderful day

I've had a full cat back to just a magnaflow muffler, exhaust doesn't really do much but add noise on these trucks, you wont really notice a loss or gain In power or mpgs, at least from my own personal experience that's what I have to share. if you want a deeper tone I would recommend magnaflow or flow master, spin tech sounds decent also. if you like the stock sound I would just check out oem equivalents, I think Gibson and walker make a oem style catback for a pretty good price.

you can also get a y pipe if you want to get rid of the rear cats completely

I really like my MBRP exhaust. Had it a few weeks now.. But I like the extra noise, a lot of people on here don't.. Sound is very subjective as I am sure you already know.. But I have a 4 banger I still think it sounds decent with the MBRP exhaust. Not terribly loud but noticable, drone is minimal. They make the same thing for the 6 Cyl.

My brother in law had a flow-master dual setup on his V6 that I wasn't that impressed with.. He now has a Magnaflow and likes it better..

All I have had is the stock system with the added performance exhaust tip when I bought her and I love the sound, yes its noticeable and I like that. I don't seen to hear that on other Tacoma's and no I don't want to lose that. Guess I enjoy to deep throat sound like I have on my Nightrain with big shot long on her, its the same, loud but not too offensive, I think.
