There is so much great information on this thread. Many of the people who are sharing what size tires they are running don't mention if they have a lift or what type of lift they are running. Or if they are running stock wheels or aftermarket wheels and what offsets/backspacing they are. Or if they are using any spacers.

When my truck is built and delivered one of my first changes is going to be tires and wheels. I will not be doing much if any modifications to suspension. so knowing what suspension mods, wheel offset/backspacing and the like are equally as important to knowing what tires and tire sizes people are running. I will definitely go back through this thread at that point to sift through everything and extract as much of that information as I can!

Thank you. I went with the AT3 LT’s. See below pictures. I love the way they sit and drive on the Tacoma. F905E4AA-7BEC-405A-9B6E-48044B5A7F2A.jpgC652A614-2E16-4F5B-B176-E278DEC5D655.jpg

I’ve read through 12 pages of this thread so forgive me if this has already been discussed on one of the other 55 pages. I am wanted a taller look but not looking to lift. What is the tallest skin that could go on a factory 16’ TRd sport with factory 17s without trimming anything?

I’m thinking of selling my general grabber at2 235/85/16 with stock Trd offroad rims, the rims aren’t to bad. Just a few scuffs. Plenty of tread left only 3k on them. What could I get for them?

I'm about to pull the trigger on Toyo M55 255/85r16 ... like all toyo they measure big.

    33.4x10.4!

That's as big as the 34x10.5x17 KO2 and nearly equivalent to the non existent 265/80r17.

We should add these to the list!

Has anybody had a 255/85r16 mounted to their spare wheel and tried to put it back underneath in its normal position? Thinking about doing this to have a matching spare but unsure if it'll fit back in the hole? My truck is a 3rd gen

    Here's how it sits now.

How did you like the Extreme Countries? I have been considering them in 235/85/16. How many miles did you get out of them?

Eh they were nice in the begging, great in the mud. After a while started to get really loud, and i maybe have 20k miles and they are almost done, I could probably stetch it to 30K miles. As you can see I'm not going with them again. The price was unbeatable, but you get what you pay for.

Just bit the bullet and ordered 255/85r16 Toyo M55! Very exciting. They measure big at 33.4x10.4 and are as tough as they get.
