Tonneau cover on a first gen. Thoughts? Thinking about one for my truck, I don't LOVE the looks of them but would like the extra "dry" space for the grocery getter..

 

I had one on my 98 I liked it. I didnt haul much big stuff at the time so it suited me fine.

 

Hey, Idaho folks. I just moved down to Boise from Alaska at the beginning of October and am absolutely loving it here. I'm due for some new tires before snow starts coming down and am wondering if anyone in the Boise area has a recommendation for a shop that'll handle a cab mount chop? I'm hoping to step up to 33's and need to get that handled.

 

I would recommend BFG AT I have had a set on all my vehicles and they perform great in the snow. I currently have 33-12.5’s and they are excellent.

 

Anyone in the Boise area do a CMC?

 

So I just bought a house in Nampa (Sherwood Meadows Subdivision), and we move up there mid-December. Bad timing for weather, but only time we could drive after I separate from the military haha What offroading trip would everyone recommend we do first come good weather? Don't mind driving at all

 

Well Hello all. Decided I better step into the Idaho thread for a moment. As for everyone asking about tires for the winter, I am a firm believer in the BFG A/T KO2's. But the Falken WildPeak AT3W is also a great tire and a much lower price point along with the Cooper AT3 and General ATX. As for the CMC I believe CBI does them still. But they are in Idaho Falls. And camping season is never really over if you glamp like I do! Going to be camping all of next week while elk hunting but just bought a set of snow chains for the camper as I am not sure how fun it is going to be to pull it off the mountain after a foot or more of snow. It is gorgeous in the mountains now but we are supposed to get snow this weekend and next week. Bring it on! Need the snow for a good hunt this year. And hello to all the new people moving into Idaho. Although everyone seems to be everywhere except southeast Idaho. But there are a few of us here. Let us know if you ever get out this way.

Dont know if this got answered but Bucks Off Road in Boise, Top Line Truck in Nampa, 4x4 Shop, Inc Caldwell. I think any of those could do it.
