Tossing around the idea of producing bed racks and thought I would post up a feeler to gauge interest. I’m posting in in the Northwest thread because starting out I would prefer to avoid the headache of shipping. The racks would be built to order in my spare time after work. I am not a professional fabricator just enjoy doing this stuff on the side. These wouldn’t be cheap but there is nothing else on the market like it that I can find. More info will follow if there is enough interest in the project moving forward.

    1.5” square tubing
    Attaches to bed rails
    Gas strut hinged lift
    2,000 lb latches
RTT at cab height clears most totes and coolers I have tested
Possible lockable option to secure bed cargo from theft

If you need a 2nd Gen 6' bed to test-fit anything, I work in Albany and ride my motorcycle most of the summer

I'd love this option for the 3rd gen's. I wish they made compatible brackets to work with the Bakflips. How easily could I take the rack off if one wished to?

I like how you can store stuff under the rack and raise it up on the side. It almost looks like it would fit under a soft top as well
