Just moved to Bragg. Thinking about doing 4.88's, not something I want to do personally. What are some of the reputable offroading shops in the Carolinas? Driving is not an issue.

 

@Dangerdave there is supposedly a route open from Raleigh to Wilmington. It is a 50-50 shot and a guy is going to try it now and will keep me informed if it is open.

40 east to the Warsaw exit. From there take 24 west to 11 south. Take 11 south to 41 south. 41 south to 117 south. 117 south to church st. Right on church street to 11 south. Right on 11 south to Watha road. Left onto Watha road to camp kirkwood road. Veer/left onto camp kirkwood to 117 south. 117 south to Holly shelter road. Left onto Holly shelter to 40 E. 40 E to I-140.

We are on 17. 258/58 totally clear from snow hill to Jville.

So far 17 clear south. Getting fuel now. I’ll keep you all posted

 

From Raleigh in, someone used this route this morning.

70 East to Kinston, 258 to Richlands, 24 to Jacksonville, 17 to Hampstead, get gas in Raleigh, Clayton at the latest. Nothing southeast of there.

 

Is there fuel in jville?

 

Yea but long lines. In topsail getting gas now. 20 cars ahead of me or so

Jacksonville has half mile long lines

 

After something like this there's the potential for water in fuel.. Get/keep receipts.

I was up in New Bern today started seeing gas stations closed as far out as Kinston.
I’m headed from Raleigh down to Wilmington tomorrow, hopefully things are a little better.

Agreed. Several stations around the city have gas from My travels today. Utility crews are working their butts off also. Have seen many trucks out from all over.

So I booked an extended stay hotel for when Jessi and the girls get back from evacuating to PA starting Saturday. Dude just called from their corporate office and said that it was an error and they were not accepting anyone and apologized for the glitch in their computers.

Going back through trying to find somewhere to stay.. nothing is open or even available..

Moving date is official. Saturday we are packing up and moving to Castle Hayne. Thankfully we found a place to land for the next 6 month until we can buy a house.
