I gangloaded all the lights as an option on switch 8. Between that and the panic alarm on my key fob, I sent a group of yotes wandering around our camp one night running for the next county over last fall.

As far as LCAs go, I'm in the same boat. The decision between LSK, Dirt King, and the quite a bit more TCs are a hard call for me.

I think I am going to pull the trigger on some OE replacements. Aftermarket just aren't in the budget for me. I still want to get ADS coilovers in the front and buy my brothers used 12" Kings for the rear when he jumps up to 14's.

I feel ya on the budget. Between saving for a house and a planned trip to the arctic ocean next summer, I'm watching all my play money disappear.

I just figure with aftermarket UCAs and coilovers, the factory LCAs look kinda pitiful. LSK/DK is looking like a good choice simply because its like 400 bucks cheaper than the TCs.

I should be fine with OE replacements and BAMF skids for the "wheelin'" I do. At this point, I can't seem to justify $1500 on lowers.

I think this comes with age..also has something to do with "happy wife, happy life"

Just spent monies on Heretic's website last night, bodybuilding.com this morning, Amazon and other sites for Christmas presents for the wife, and now have to go purchase the LCAs.

Luckily I got paid yesterday, Chase has amazon rewards and I sold a couple patches and have money in my Paypal account to offset the cost. Done spending for a while.

I mean, it helps I'm a single dude in his 20s with a good paying job. Just started seeing this new girl though, so that may change.

    Lucky.

    :spending::spending::spending:

Welp, bandaid is ripped off. New OE lower replacements ordered. Helped that eBay lowered the price $20. Total came out to $83 on my card with the price lowered and Paypal doll hairs. They are shipping from the same state too from some place I never heard of. No city or county tax either. #Winning

Hopefully, this box blends in nicely with the other items I ordered. Again, happy wife...

If you ever need it, I work in finance; ask nicely and I'll draw up an official looking invoice to match whatever you claimed something cost.

Well, confirmation that spending $40 on two day shipping paid off.

Heretic harness came in today (on time). Shout-out to Nick and his team for calling me the following morning after placing my order to confirm that I do, in fact, have a Heretic light bar and am not just using the harness on any old bar. He also confirmed the Deutsch connector color on the light bars to make sure I get EXACTLY what I need. Told him I am in a rush this weekend for an event next weekend. He understood and shortly after the call, got confirmation from their website that my harness shipped.

Went out to the truck quickly and tinkered with the harness in the truck again. I cleaned up the old relay and the relay receiver (pigtail) and the top pin out (shown in the picture below) is gone. Totally destroyed. I tried cleaning out the receiver in hopes that the female connector was still intact but it's all dust. The relay pin was taken with it as shown in the second picture below:

1 out of 3 "mysterious" electrical issues solved.

Pretty sure the roof rack lights and the winch are ground issues.

Getting this thing functioning back to 100% should be a quick and simple task on Saturday.

    $40 WELL spent.

I have to say, I was skeptical spending $128 for LCAs from eBay, but these puppies are STOUT! Quality feels really solid.

I’ll be around next weekend :welder: I would say this Sunday but I’m going to a college friend’s wedding Saturday night in Indianapolis and I’m not confident in how quickly I’ll be moving Sunday morning.

That’s where it’s drilled for the cotter pin. Pic is perpendicular to where the pin goes through.

Two out of three electrical issues resolved and fixed:

Shout out to my brother @GARSHA91 for solving and fixing all the issues. New Heretic harness swapped in and a new ground was found for the Sasquatch lights. Didn't take very long at all. The winch is a different story :pout:

Just as I suspected, the winch is not getting power. One of the leads on the solenoids cracked and popped off the terminal:

I guess I'll be reaching out to Warn on Monday to see if they will send a new solenoid or a new box :notsure:

While my brother was doing that, we got my buddy's pyrite mica hooked up with a prinsu roof rack:
