Sure thing...here's one more that I just found about questioning if he should have bought the sport. Down the rabbit hole I go...

then keep it stock, modding might not be for you if you're constantly second and third guessing your choices.

I’ve been on the 4/5 setting and went up. It’s the same ride quality as 6/5. It’s the reason why Bilstein only does a 2” to ensure the ride doesn’t suffer.

The word “harsh” is thrown around here all the time....people experiences are different than other. It’s a firm ride. Bilstein is a digressive valvling vs a progressive valuing like fox and kings. I don’t know how people can say it’s a harsh ride but like I said people have different thoughts on the quality of ride. Mine ride wonderful!!!

If you think 887 and 5100 is gonna improve your “quality of ride” go ahead and buy that system. 6112 is a better system buy a VERY LARGE MARGIN compared to the 5100s

Thanks for having patience my man. Seriously, I mean that... I know I can be indecisive. I'm probably going to just go with 5100s as I just don't want to spend that much and primarily want a 2" lift with a minor step up in performance.

What would be harsher though... 5100s with a 887, or 6112 at the 5/6th? If equal, then I may just stick with 6112s.

Buy it and find out. I’ve already told you my thoughts on the 6112s is superior to 5100s.

I hear you man. Obviously these forums are to discuss which is best and everyone has opinions. I realize the 6112s are much better performance wise... but if performance isn't a huge concern being that i'm not a big off road guy... thats why i'm going back and forth.

This was Marie's response if you care:
"So the 6112 is a strut and coil combination which uses the notch settings on the shock with the coil provided to achieve lift. They come with a 600lb spring rate tapered coil. They have a much larger shock diameter than the factory shock (which is a 1.5” diameter and the Bilstein 5100’s have a 2.0 diameter) which helps with the displacement to keep the shock cooler longer when under strain from an extended period of time. They are not fully adjustable or revalvable. However, they are a nice upgrade over the stock suspension and the Bilstein 5100’s. From most of the feedback I have, the 6112’s provide a nice on and off-road ride quality at the lower notch settings but at the highest notch setting, I do have quite a bit of feedback in which people don’t care for the ride quality. So if you are looking to gain around 2” of lift over stock the ride may be firmer then you would like. Ride quality is greatly subjective but I do like to let people know what I have heard since it can be helpful. "

Don’t flatter yourself, sweet cheeks. The life of a military man is 20 years of unimaginable boredom punctuated by infrequent skirmishes with death.

Plus, you’re a yank: likely easily-annoyed and disgraceful at shit-talking. It’s not your fault - you’re an easy target.

Lol this is a funny thread.

@ejewels since you just said you don’t care about performance just save money and buy the 5100s.
