10.25.18 - Houston area Suds N' Grub mini-meet

Date: Thursday the 25th of October

End Time: When the last person leaves but no later than 10pm.

Why: To take a few hours and hang out with fellow Tacoma enthusiasts, reconnect with friends and make new ones, and eat good food.

What in the world is going on?
Come out for a latter-half of the week mini meet where you can grab a bite to eat, hang out and shoot the breeze with good like-minded folks, and just relax for a few hours.

Why is this on a Thursday? I work the next day!
We completely understand, which is why this is a "mini-meet". Generally speaking, weekends are pretty busy and, in this case, there are several TTC and off-roading activities planned for Friday the 26th through Sunday the 29th. So with that in mind, this meet isn't so much about showcasing our Tacomas, wheeling, etc. as it is about bonding with one another over good food and maybe a drink or two. This is a perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends and make new ones, and this includes you!

Am I welcome?
As always, HELL YES YOU ARE. If you're reading this, or even if you aren't, come out and join us on Thursday the 25th! This event has been coordinated with the Texas Toyota Coalition but you need not be a member to shoot the breeze with us. You don't even have to drive a Toyota or a Tacoma. The only requirement is the desire to hang out with good people, engage in good conversation, and have a good time.

What in the world is a "King's Biergarten"?
King's Biergarten is a national and local award-winning German-Austrian restaurant located in Pearland, about 30 minutes from downtown Houston.

I also forgot I scheduled a kickboxing class for that night. Fuck...I need to figure out what I'm doing next week.

 

You do a 3 class trial for $20 and that includes a pair of boxing gloves. That's what I'm doing now. I'm probably going to get a membership though because I felt like I was dying while they pushed me and that's the kind of workout I need in my life.

 

Mark me down as a pretty sure maybe, will be fishing out of Galveston on the 24th.

10-15 miles something nice

 

Within 15 miles, there is the South Shore Harbor Resort and Conference Center and Hilton Clear Lake / NASA. There are several motels off West Texas Avenue in Webster: Staybridge Suites Houston-NASA/Clear Lake, Hilton Garden Inn Houston/Clear Lake/NASA, and Home2 Suites Houston Webster.
