Is this expected temp gauge position on 2000 Taco for normal running temperature?

    You've been asking everyone about the temp gauge, but it looks like your brake light indicator is trying to tell you that you don't have any brakes. Can't believe nobody caught that one.

    Heat and aluminum heads don’t mix= (head gasket blown) Get a scanguage so you know the exact temp. Should be 190 degrees or so. The Toyota guage is not always accurate, so don’t trust it.
    If you think you have a heat issue get the correct info ASAP before it’s to late
