there are a lot of brackets available not only from Prinsu but other locations as well like 4 wheels parts inc or even if you are a real DIY person 80/20 has lots of stuff to use that matches up perfect with the Material that Prinsu uses and check out the "Quick-Fist" line of holders for both shovels and Axes and more. go to <https://www.quickfist.com>

Dude thanks so does yours! So far no complaints. Hole punch through the weather stripping was a PITA but some silicone should hold the wavy parts down.

Mine didn’t come with a wind strip for the leading edge deflector. It’s an add-on and addtional price on their website now. Seems like it should be included but that’s just me.

    Check Out My Builds
I've noticed that they have been making it cheaper to make while keeping the price or slightly increasing it. I noticed my toprac side bars are thinner than my cabrac that I bought while Zach owned it. I've also noticed that since you can't see the front bar behind the wind deflector they leave that "bare" to keep cost down as well as now taking the wind strip thing away.

Which all makes sense, trying to keep costs down is business so just observational :hattip:

I noticed that, too. They do come fully powder-coated now for everything except for that one crossbar behind the windscreen. I don't remember what price PC added back when you could customize these things but I think the base model, bare metal, no add-ons was like $500 or $550 right?

Also, 99% of the aluminum profile I've ever seen (stuff the cross bars are cut from) is actually anodized clear rather than just bare metal. Not sure about the stuff these guys use, but I doubt the front cross bar is truly 'bare' aluminum.

Here's a tip for you guys trying to go with the CaliRaised single-row light bars and the Prinsu. (Credit to @Nixinus for the idea.)

    https://caliraisedled.com/collections/slim-bars

Problem: The mounting brackets that CaliRaised includes with their light bars do not position the bar high enough to clear the wind deflector. As a result, the lower lip of the light bar contacts the back of the windscreen which means you have to aim the beam too low, or beam it up in the sky. Additionally, the CaliRaised included brackets are too wide to fit on the 1" crossbar behind the windscreen, meaning you'll need to drill out or modify the bracket to make it work. Total PITA considering how small they are to begin with. PHOTO.

Solution: You need an L-Bracket 1" wide that will line up with the Prinsu crossbar and also position the light bar above/behind the windscreen to avoid the problem. TNutz makes a lot of items that are built specifically to work with the T-channel crossbars like Prinsu. The following products are all that are needed to correctly mount the single-row light bar:

https://www.tnutz.com/product/cb-010-d-black-4-hole-inside-corner-bracket/ On the right side of the page, select the option to add the Mounting Hardware "(4) 1/4-20 X 1/2″ BUTTON HEAD SCREWS & (2) DOUBLE ECONOMY T-NUTS".

You'll need to order 2 (one bracket for each side). The mounting hardware is almost identical to the t-slot hardware included with the Prinsu, so everything bolts right up to the crossbar. Total cost is $6.70 before shipping. Cost should only be about $13 with shipping included. INVOICE EXAMPLE.

Note you will need to drill the upper hole of the Tnutz L-bracket slightly larger with a 5/16" drill bit to allow it to fit the CaliRaised Allen Bolt that secures the light bar. The brackets are aluminum so drilling is super simple.

    Final result (courtesy of @Nixinus ). :

Trust me when I say this, don't waste your time trying to make the included brackets work. Spend the $13 and you will save yourself a lot of frustration.

This MAY work for other light bars with similar dimensions, but it definitely corrects the problem with the CaliRaised single-row bars.

Just spend the $20 and get the herectic mounts from Prinsu. They are perfect and sit the bar exactly where it needs to be.

Hey there, I'm the guy who initially went this route. I thought about going heretic but I didn't for a few reasons. First, I was already placing an order with tnutz so it didn't add much to the shipping. I also wanted something that was color matched, less work painting. Finally, and most importantly for me, was getting the bar as close to the windshield so that I could reduce wind noise, block the bleeding light from the hood and still maintain adjustability. I have not tried the heretic mount but I know this method acheived all the things I needed it to. Just my $0.02 opinion.

Solid. That makes sense. I was concerned about how I was going to mount it as well and had planned on fabbing my own mounts. When I was checking out on the page to buy the rack I saw the heretic mounts for $20 and tossed them into the cart just incase. Turns out they are exactly what is needed for the low profile bar.

Also worth noting, the Heretic from Prinsu is $20 + $12 shipping, so $32. The Tnutz route (again credited to @Nixinus ) gets the job done for $12.

5100s/OME 888s. Dakar leaf pack. Total Chaos UCAs. DeMello Sliders. BAMF Recessed Grille. Prinsu Cabrack and Toprack.
The cabrack bolts directly into the built-in rivnuts that the factory (OEM) rack bolts into so my guess is that it will not mount to the rhino rack ditch tracks.

That’s a bummer. These ditch tracks seem pretty permanent

got a CVT awning, cons to bolting directly to the side of the rack with the small little spacer?

just use a carriage bolt or does a actual grade 8 6mm fit in the slot rail on the awning? (i havent tried yet)

Trying to gauge what i need so i can hit the store on the way home.
