It’s a small mod, but it will make an improvement to the front end aesthetics:)

    Super stoked!!!

Part of me is thinking I wanna just run them raw plastic... so they still contrast but are smooth.

Worst case I could always take it back off to paint!

Damn dude, that's awesome. Can't wait to order Quicksand. Every time I look at my headlights I imagine the cutouts in there being tonal and I think these are going to look the way they should have originally.

I just recently installed your side view mirror lights, great quality manufacturing.

@mesojdm In for a set, will these be on a sign up list for color specifics?
Or are you just making a broad bunch of colored ones, and it's a first come first serve mad dash to the finish like the mirror signals??

How much room is there behind that panel? Be interesting to have a small secret storage compartment.

You would have to take apart your grill and fender to get to it.

It's visible from the outside. So if it's connected by a hinge and magnet....

Or just magnets and a support structure that if you pressed on a single spot it rotates and falls off.

But, is the size even useful?

The problem is the panel itself has lips that are tucked behind the front bumper. So in order to make it “hinge open” you would have to modify it severely. As far as how much space is behind it, I would say 3/4”

    Not enough space then.

But for a thought experiment, any lips can just be flush instead, and the hinge could just be an internal lever. Even as simple as a plastic bar 90% to one side. Just press on that side and it'll lever the other sides magnets off thereby "opening" it.

Can't see a use beyond keys or bragging rights, but sometimes that's enough lol.

Is it possible to buy w/o paint? Might just use them matte black. Or if I decide I want them MGM I still have paint I never used on mirrors.
