I confirmed it will fit in there despite tight tolerances today when I switched back to the stock tensioner temporarily while I receive this pulley. I'd rather have full tensioner sleeve engagement into the pulley than decreased engagement and risk losing an idler while under boost.

The Thump tensioner added a surprising amount of stability to the amount of boost being driven through at all times. It also slightly raised the tensioner resting height using the current fleetrunner belt I have been using so that tells me that it actually added a bit more tension to the setup at all times. I can't wait to put it all back on and may throw an NST lightweight pulley for faster revving at all times since I will be in there, again.

    Much better!

    Yessir... crank only.

Oh and @Roostfactor I already confirmed bearing sizes being the same.

Our idler pulley bearing utilized in the tensioner arm is a 6203, which are the same style which will be utilized in this 50mm double bearing billet idler pulley, so fitment will be a non issue.

I'm almost certain my fits with my truck have been due to inferior fuel. Just ran it low and fueled up where I normally do. Doesnt hesitate like it did. Premium fuel is only as good as where its purchased. Me saving 3.00 on a tankful wasn't worth it.

Glad to hear you didn't have a bigger issue!

Though fuel can surprisingly make or break you as well. Lol.

Yup that’s correct 6203. The bearings Toyota use are pretty great. But if you’re going aftermarket make sure they can handle the higher SC rpms

Looks like a smaller quick change pulley from PulleyBoys.

When the groupbuy people who received their pulleys, many of them had "PulleyBoys" etched into the pulley, and several found that advertising (and the quality of the etching) to be tacky.

Pulley boys. Currently using a 2.7. 2.5 is pictured. Got a 2.6 as well if I need to step things back.

They originally sent you pulleys with the incorrect number of ribs, correct?

That's correct. First package lost in mail, second wrong size, delay, now I have them!

It was interesting the way this worked out, because when I got my qwikchange pulley it was a blank black one and so the general assumption was that it was that way for every pulley they offered across the board. After the whole thing was said and done it turns out only 2.5 and 2.6 are blank anodized black units from them.anything smaller or bigger I have an alternate source for blank qwikchange pulley's. The only drawback is that they come in raw silver at that point.

I have an NST lightweight OE size pulley on order now as well. So not only will I have increased serpentine drive stability after is everything is back on, but I'll have a much faster revving engine and blower. :D

    Stoked.

Not a bad deal in silver. I was just going to sand off the logo and polish. They offered me a choice, I chose solid black.

Oh I did forget to mention the pulleys are much cheaper priced than pulley boys if you need replacements. He can send them with the RIP mod already integrated as well, but again the only drawback is raw silver.

I always hear of the better deal after I buy. I should start a thread on hindsight.

Curious why only the crank pulley and not the whole package?

Also are you worried about the crank pulley messing up with some seal back there causing an oil leak? I vaguely remember that being an issue for some people.
