I’ll agree. I didn’t go OR simply because I’ll be going different route with suspension rather than factory OR on mine, but the upgrade package was a must

Step inside a 5 year old ram and 5 year old tundra. Then tell me about quality. My father has a 2005 Ram 2500, 6-speed, cummins, built motor and trans, etc... but the interior quality is not there. He takes amazing care of his vehicles and the little things that Chrysler skips on just tend to show after time. Toyotas have their flaws, but overall quality is always something they tend shine on.

l averge 16-17 mpg over years. That's with mostly driving around town. If l just do a highway run. I can get 22 mpg.

Considering the large reserve buffer they have with the tundra, I'll get maybe 400 miles and the gauge is down to the 1/4 tank mark. Average mpg is about 14-15. same gears and speed as the guy above me

    Thanks,
I test drove a new one today TRD OR Limited, it only had like 10 miles on it, was on empty, filled it up... It took $92 to fill and dash said 600 miles till empty...
One of my thoughts was maybe that 600 miles till empty would change after "learning' my driving style, and drop drastically, after a few fill ups etc..
Does that sound right, my theory that is?

I've been getting 15-18 MPG with my Taco and at the high end 340ish mile range which is rare.. Typically around $45 to fill, all rough calculations..

Earlier when the Tundra said 600 till empty, I was thinking thats not far off what I'm getting in my Taco, except the Tundras just has a bigger tank.

If I go with the Tundra, I'm thinking of building a camper for the back. My thought was if you geared out a Taco the same way and weight (typical overland/offroad set up) it would add so much weight you'd probably start getting into Tundra MPG category if not worse..

Is 4:30 gear stock with Tundra..?

When I drove one the other day, the guy mentioned they were running incentives right now on the new ones. Just figured I'd tell you, incase that's why you were going for used bc price.. Don't know if that'd be n the ball park of what you have in mind tho.
