I didn't get to do much of the trail. I stopped when I came to a slate shelf and didn't really know how to attack it and didn't want to cause any panel damage. So I did the smart thing and turned around. For the future I'll need rock sliders to feel more confident and protected. But man what a blast the 2 hours I was on the trail. My truck for sure impressed me.

Sucks about the bird, but truck took it like a champ! Time for a satoshi grille, now.

What trail did you find? Whereabouts?

Spaas Creek Rd . For sure the most fun I've had with the truck so far.

    That's a good, easy/medium trail.

Awesome. I took my girlfriend but she didn't want to get out. Was scared of seeing a bear so I had to try to spot myself haha. But I did get to use the winch one time so it paid for itself haha.

FYI: I actually live at the very Western edge of the Boone. My west property line in the middle of the Little South Fork River in Wayne County, about 4 miles North of the Tenn. State line IS the border of the Boone as well.

New to the forum here! Been driving Toyota’s for years. Just recently bought a ‘19 trd OR. I live in Ky but never been to the DBBB and looking to head down sometime this year and see if this taco is as good as my old 92 pickup was.

Pretty good looking rig ☝️ I’m eager to see what this new truck is capable of. Without causing to much damage

I’m all stock right now. I’ve got Bilstein 5100s waiting to go on and will either buy or build sliders in the next month. After that I’m planning on a hidden winch and different wheels/tires eventually.
