    Ok so what i did is I bought a led bulb that fits in the bulb socket in the 4wd switch and soldered two wires and fished them to the white and green wires on the ac vent controls thats it

    I have an A/C panel illumination light that has burned out. It looks just like the one that is used in the mod. Did the mod a few years back. Anyone know where to source that bulb, or the part number.

    It seems there is a spot for a bulb on the back of all the switches, it just doesn't have a bulb installed (and no wiring for it), I know people like LED's, but for a factory look/feel, why don't people just install an appropriate bulb?

    When I installed mine, you couldn't tell what type of lighting was behind the switch. (See post #5) Plus, those little bulbs are like $12 each from the dealer vs slightly more money for leds that will potentially last the lifetime of the truck.
