This has me concerned. I am wondering if the length of the mount post were cut correctly. I have an easy fix for you, I can send spacers and it’ll bolt right up. I’m going to have to investigate because although it should be tight, it shouldn’t be that tight obviously.

I have a 2 inch lift on a 2nd gen. I did not do a dif drop. No vibration issues but installed a 2-3 degree shim on the rear lief springs anyway.

Thanks for the quick reply. I can post any other pictures or measurements you need.

Would the spacers be for the middle and rear mounting points? That would mean I need longer bolts for those two mounting points in order to clear the diff.

I also noticed that the IFS sits considerably higher than the trans plate and I have to use a jack to bend the trans plate up. Even when I do, the outer edge of the IFS lip hits above the trans plate lip (on the actual horizontal plate) and prevents a gapless mating surface, no matter how hard I crank the two joining bolts. I was going to grind down the IFS so that I could get it to mount to the trans plate without any gaps.

I can send both but I believe you only need the front. I can send hardware too. Message me your order number please.

It appears that the skid plate is hitting the front diff about Midway between the middle and rear mounting points. I thought about stacking washers on the middle mount but the diff would still rest on the plate.
