I believe I may have found a buyer for ya sir. My neighbor just bought a 2007 FJ. And is interested in a SC for it. I’ll forward your post to him.

They are indeed nice. I miss the whine of the supercharger.

I believe our friends at @TIM.TRDSparks ran some kind of promotion after this group but, it wasn’t as good as the group buy but still offered a deal.

I tried to get them to do it quite a few months after this one and got told they weren’t doing it again. That was about 6 months ago.

I am still kicking myself for not jumping on this when it first went live... It sure would be nice to be able to get that kind of discounted pricing right about now.

Has anyone heard of a recent supercharger deal? Have these gone on sale during Black Friday before? Oh how I wish I hadn’t missed the original group buy.

Yes you do. Then you could hang with the cool kids and burn more money.

Is the bully dog tune the same rom as the Toyota OEM techstream reflash?

No. The BD tune ran pretty shitty in a lot of trucks, mine included. It ran lean. Maybe to meet CA smog requirements. I would try for the trd tune, or a ucon. Or maybe the ovtune guy has something for 2nd gen supercharged engines?

The problem with the bd tune is it makes itself look like the trd tune. So once its installed, nobody could get it uninstalled.

Any ideas how much a local dealer will charge to reflash the ECU?

I remember hearing of guys getting charged anywhere from 85 bucks up into 200 range. I think it just really depends on the dealer. They just hook it to techstream and install the ecu reflash though. Nothing labor intensive.

If I remember correctly Magnuson said "never again" after doing this group buy a couple years ago.

Then again it can't hurt to ask, maybe whoever was in charge of it over there last time isn't in charge of it now, who knows.
