I originally didn’t want the slide but all they had were units with slides in them. Decided it wasn’t that much more weight for the slide so went ahead with it. Really glad we did because it adds a lot of room inside.

Picked up another new set of toys. 2017 and 2018 Renegades. The open trailer was a borrowed one that I used to pick them up. Ended up getting a 20' enclosed 4-place trailer just a day after. Yet another reason why I'm thinking I will need a bigger truck soon. Even though it's lightweight and all aluminum at 3260 lbs WITH 2 sleds loaded (weight slips last pic), it's a hell of a thing for my truck to handle with a headwind. Going down the highway at 70 is impossible with a headwind unless it shifts into 3rd and screams at 4,500 rpm. Also for the fun of it, a straight-down the side shot with tow mirrors, even with those I still can't really see well down the side of the trailer because of our narrow body.

And finally, a shot in a parking lot at night, because even though this truck is small, god damn does Spruce Mica look good when the light hits it.

Bought a 5x8 enclosed trailer for my company. Will be using it to haul Cadillac horns across the country.

I’m converting the hubs to 6x5.5 so I can run matching 3rd Gen wheels to match my truck, and add trailer brakes at the same time.

I agree - Not sure what you think you did to make that safe but I seriously doubt it is.

irst trip. Did not take the camper as we had a 12 ft U-Haul full of furniture for our Daughter. Really enjoyed St Augustine beach though. Now we hook up the camper and head across country after the holidays. Might try a short trip first down to Florida again. Gotta spoil the grandkids you know!

Came back through NC and down the Tail of the Dragon again. Here it is at the bottom on the River:

Not sure I want to do that towing the camper though!

Actually, yes they have. LOL still Tacoma parts but yes they have been replaced since original. Not sure what the overweight has to do with any of that as long as I keep my tongue weight in check. And honestly, what is the difference between a 5800lb truck towing a 8000lb trailer and a 9000lb truck towing a 18000lb trailer. To be honest I think I am on the better side than most "big" RV setups.

You should have more faith in your trucks. If it was truly unsafe, I would not be towing it with my wife, kids, and dog in the truck with me. But yes, I do regularly get under my truck and look at my frame for cracks and broken welds. And to scare you even more, I do this on a custom aftermarket bumper! As for axles and bearings, if it was really harming it, they would be going bad or breaking. Brakes, well, I can stop plenty fast and have never been in a "oh shit" moment, but I do not run factory pads or rotors. I do run a Prodigy P3 brake controller and an Equalizer 4 point sway control hitch. I did actually install the 4.88 gears to slow myself down. With the factory 3.73's the truck ran better at 80mph than at a more comfortable 65mph. I am sure that nothing here is changing your mind on whether I am an idiot or not, but oh well. I have been called worse. And we feel plenty safe with our setup.

Those Winnebago Micro-Minnies are very nice trailers. They tick off all the boxes. Short, light, stout aluminum framing, dual axles, big tanks, offroadable.

Don’t tow it as much these days now that I have a boat house to keep it in...putting it on the trailer for winter last weekend.

Skeeter SL-180 fish n ski. I think it’s around 3,000 lbs. I pulled it all over Texas and then to North Carolina.
