As @DocME said your belt size and pulley isn’t unusual, if anything the belt could go down a belt size, so that’s not the issue. A picture of the failure point would help. As far as driving it without the blower belt, it’s been discussed many times for other roots, I think the consensus is there is no issue except that you won’t be in boost. I’d also unplug the battery to powercycle once I get the tensioner and belt back on.

^yep, I’ll be upgrading mine early spring. Hate working on the truck in the winter even if the garage is heated, damn DCLB is soo long it gives me barely any room to work.

I just noticed that it broke off so I dont have the pulley. I can get the roush american muscle one by Friday if I order now. Does it matter which year I choose or is it the same for all years.

If I order the steeda do I order the 555-3358. I'm guessing someone has done the research and that is the exact one to order for a replacement. Thanks again for all the feedback. This site is always helpful.

The first page link to the roush tensioner is for 2005-2010 mustangs, so when you order, they're just checking fitment for those year mustangs.

Do you have a link to both? I may be interested in the 48mm.
    Nice find Wizard!

You are sure the stock is 52mm? if so then the 48mm is 8% smaller and the 45.5mm is 12.5% smaller. I think either would be great for those with electric fans, stereo's, etc.
How do you change them? I wonder if it is as much of a pain as the sc pulley to change?

hey guys, I noticed that the top side of the main drive belt turned brown, after searching for the source I noticed that the metal water pipes coming out of the back of the thermostat housing were rotted & possibly leaking at some point. They come out of the back of the housing go under the intake manifold & connect to hoses on the back side of the engine.

My question is does anybody know how I can get those part numbers to replace those pipes & o-rings?

    thank you

If they are the sc kit parts you might call Magnuson to get the parts list for the kit unless someone here has it.
If they are oem Toyota parts go online and find the parts diagram for what you need.

The alternator pulley is bolted on. It took me a battery impact drill with multiple attempts to finally break loose. Spray some bolt breaker spray the night before could help

I have the parts diagram from the digital install manual but it does not list the individual part numbers. It will state part G out of “bag c” etc.
I bought my SC used, and before delivery, I knew there were too good a chance it was going to be missing parts so preemptively I called up a couple Toyota dealerships to see if they can provide me either components parts or even just numbers and none could find part numbers on their system. Magnuson however responded positively. They said they were able to provide me with any parts I needed by just simply sending a photo of the part and stating what component it came from.

Thank you sir, I appreciate the help, but the parts I'm trying to replace aren't part of the blower, they are the stock cooling lines that run from the thermostat housing under the intake manifold to the rear of the engine. I was able to get the pipe assembly online, but I'm having a problem locating the o-ring part numbers. I'll head over to the dealer & try to get them from them.ugh

But there is a pipe extension directly behind the thermostat housing that extends the factory water return tube. I actually just bought a new kit “g” but right after I ordered it I found it for $100 cheaper online. That kit is like $160 if I remember right. You need a new extension if you have a leak there. You’ll never get the original one out without fubaring it. You can order the parts/or orings online. I actually have an extra set here if you can’t find them. I’ll try to get more info for you when I get home.

Edit: this is if you have a leak directly at the back of the thermostat housing. There is an extension 1”, to space the housing out for S/c belt clearance.
