Talk to @5 Lug Fury, he closer to you and would likely be able to help as well. Just don't pay a shop to do it. That's wasteful.

Are there any reliable auto shops down in Ft Lauderdale area? anyone have recommendations? Looking to get tires on my new wheels.

 

Tires you have or tires you’re buying? If you’re buying, you may want to check through your dealers website and see if SE Toyota has any promotions. Last month was buy 3, get 1 free; so the installed price on a set of 4 was cheaper than just ordering tires online.

 

im looking at all options. some shops charge extra if you bring your own tires opposed to buying tires from them. Also need them to take out the OEM TPMS Sensors to put on the new wheels. Just didnt know if anyone knew a good reliable shop.

 

I've been buying tires from Wheel Connection in West Palm for close to 20 years now and they treat me well and are competable price wise if you don't mind taking a quick ride north.

Anyone know of a reputable place that’ll install Coil-Overs leaf springs and shocks? I want this thing dialed in. I don’t want the typical SOFLO leveling kit. Been to a few shops and they didn’t know too much bout yotas other than throwing some spacers in there and calling it a day.. i mean the install isn’t that hard so i probably shouldn’t worry bout it too much.. any experiences?

 

Doing it yourself is pretty easy if it's a Bilstien 5100 or a spindle lift.

 

Nah fox 2.5 w sway bar relocate/ icon UCA/ and icon rxt leaf pack with Fox 2.0rr.. kinda overkill for my needs but ya only live once.. not that it’s that much more complicated than a bilstein.i just want it done right

 

You can absolutely do it right and save yourself the cost of shop labor. It’s too simple of a job to pay someone to do it. Hell, if you’re dead set on paying someone, bring it to me and I’ll do it for $150 and be done in 3 hours or less.

 

St Lucie is a bit far.. my friend owns a body shop.. I’ll see if he has some time.. i was quoted 500$ for install including alignment .. $$$ pricey no?

 

That’s entirely too much. It is literally a 30 minute job each side up front, 4 bolts per strut, sway bar - just throw it away, it’s useless on these trucks once lifted. Rear leaf swap takes an hour.

 

My truck is up 2” now I’m only going up an extra 1/2 inch 2.5.. the sway bar isn’t doing anything now?? Body roll? No?

 

And i get it it’s all plug and play.. just don’t have any jacks or jack stands..I’m going to ask my buddy he has a lift at his shop.. your right 500 is too much for 8 bolts a side and a leaf pack. He has my window regulator anyway (fell off track). kill two birds and get stoned at the same time!!
